This month, we focused on keeping our volunteers AND our unhoused neighbors safe. Joshua and Bri led a thoughtful and practical training on safety and security, equipping our teams to be more aware, prepared, and responsive during events and outreach.

Some post-outreach prayer requests:
Leslie: pray that she would be able to go back home to North Dakota and get her warrants taken care of from turning herself in.
Esther: pray that her kids are okay and she could see them. To be able to finish school in beauty school and get off the streets.
Iris: pray for the cleaning of her arteries, that she could stay clean from drugs, for her desire to reach out to others who are also homeless, and for her to be able to embrace her new life free of drugs.
Ary May: pray for safe travels to Grand Junction and for her friend Amy who has thyroid cancer.
John: pray for his hernia surgery and spinal surgery to be successful and free of complications.
Ron: pray that he can get in touch with his son in Los Angelos and that he could also find housing.
Arial: pray for healing from the pain all over her body.
Phoenix: pray that he could get out of homelessness, and for help for paperwork issues. It’s so difficult to get off the streets once you lose housing.
David and Neil: pray that they would be able to be free of HIV.
Johnny: pray for freedom from demon possession.
Romeo Giavonni: pray for his girlfriend, for financial provision, and for housing.
Preston: pray that he would be able to find salvation through Jesus.
Corinthia: pray that she can find stable housing.
Chris: pray that he can stay out of trouble.
Christopher: pray for healing from bad frostbite and for provisions for him. **He prayed all of Psalm 91 over us (from memory!) and it was a really sweet blessing to our volunteers.
Frank: pray for unity.
Benson: pray for his family.
Kianteh: pray that the Lord would lift his burdens.
Deleo: pray for healing from his laryngitis.
Rock and Frieda: pray for strength and hope, and success in chef apprentice program.
Billy: pray for his family in Albuquerque to be kinder to each other and stop hurting//killing.
Terry: pray for him to find help and a job.
Larry: pray that he would find a place to sleep.
Robert and Jennifer: pray for her safety and that he can find her.
John: pray for healing from his cancer.
Stephen: pray for his continued faith.
Steve: pray for work to open up in the field of plumbing.
Celo: pray for freedom and strength. He plans on moving back home to be with his family
D: pray for his addiction to phytenol. He is from New Zealand and has been in the states for a few years.
Anthony: pray for his relationship with the Lord to grow. He is doing well and knows the Lord.
Keith: pray for healing for his leg.
Manuel: pray for his court date. He has an addiction to drugs and alcohol.
Robert: prayers for his temptations and thoughts of ridding his enemies through violence. It’s hard for him to get to church, as he is not very mobile and is on an oxygen tank. Pray for his identity as he struggles with suicidal thoughts.
Mary: pray for her silent battles. She came from Taiwan from 30 years ago doesn’t have any family.
Tony: prayers for his living situation and for healing from his liver issues. He left his family in California and can’t go to shelter due to too many altercations.
Jazz: pray for his salvation. He was not open to us talking about God as he is an atheist.
Keflo: pray for his disability status. His daughters are in Ethiopia and is trying to bring them here through sponsors.
Donald: pray that he would have the strength to stop running from his problems.
Pat: pray for housing and his mental state for clarity with reality.
Michelle: pray for housing and for some things to come through for her.
